Kerry wanted to get the leadership of the People’s Republic of China to abandon its historic relationship with the DPRK and help U.S. imperialism force the DPRK to abandon its nuclear deterrent. There has been much speculation about the attitude of the Chinese leaders toward the DPRK. But whatever that attitude may be, Kerry failed in his attempts for very obvious and not so obvious reasons due to the overwhelming mainstream media propaganda, psywarfare and fabrication of "facts".

There is no country in the world which does not react to the encroachment upon the legitimate right of a sovereign state to develop space and its sovereignty. Dialogue should be based on the principle of respecting sovereignty and equality--this is the DPRK's consistent stand. Genuine dialogue is possible only at the phase where the DPRK has acquired nuclear deterrent enough to defuse the U.S. threat of nuclear war unless the U.S. rolls back its hostile policy and nuclear threat and blackmail against the former as DPRK Foreign Ministry stated.

The defense commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) on Thursday urging Washington and Seoul to stop provocations, part of conditions laid out by Pyongyang for restoring talks amid tensions on the Korean Peninsula. The commission also demanded the United States and South Korea fully apologize for their aggressions, and give assurances not to carry out nuclear war games designed to intimidate the DPRK. It also urged Washington and Seoul to withdraw nuclear weapons stationed in and around South Korea, and refrain from redeploying them, if they want to reopen negotiations with Pyongyang. China also slams U.S. lies and propaganda, and denies any military buildup on Sino-DPRK border as China has been consistent and clear that it is committed to maintaining peace and stability, advancing the Korean Peninsula's denuclearization, and addressing and settling the problem through dialogue.
