Jan. 5, 2013 (TSR) – US Air Force instructor Christopher Jackson has pleaded guilty to charges of having sex with two female trainees amid widespread sex scandal at the US military training centers.

A military court on Thursday found Staff Sergeant Jackson guilty of having illicit relations with two women and asking one of them to lie to investigators about their affair.

The 29-year-old was allowed to stay in the Air Force, receiving a 100-day prison sentence, while prosecutors were seeking a sentence of at least six months in jail.

Jackson should also do hard labor for 30 days at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, and was reduced in rank and forfeited $1,500 in pay.

Jackson is reportedly among the American trainers being investigated as part of the sex scandal that rocked the Texas base.

An estimated 35,000 recruits train at Lackland every year, roughly 20% of them women. Of the 500 instructors, 90% are men.

At least 28 trainers were caught in the scandal which was revealed about a year ago, with 54 women listed as victims.
