Dinosaur footprints discovered in Beijing

Photographers shoot fossilized footprints at a geological park in Yanqing County, Beijing, capital of China, Jan. 9, 2012. Paleontologists said on Monday that several hundred fossilized footprints unearthed in the suburb park were those of dinosaurs. The footprints were left by dinosaurs that lived some 140 to 150 million years ago in the late Jurassic period, said Zhang Jianping, researcher at the China University of Geosciences.
