Pulitzer Author: ‘Iran got no nukes, US betrayed trust in the Gulf and US knows that’

by Lady Michelle-Jennifer Santos, Founder & Publisher, Political Strategist, and Strategy/Peace Negotiator with the UN Security Council Special Envoy to the Arab Nations

NOTE: The NON-EXISTENT Iran “Nukes” is such a hot topic right now. The war drums of the Neo-liberals/Neo-Conservatives in USA and Israel have been increasing. We feel that this article needs to be in the consciousness of every American and person who still believe in the smokescreen and nonsense of any elected or candidate for political office this year who fuel to the fire that is already getting out of hand, thanks to the very same people who are beating the drums. There is more to the “nukes” than meets the eye. This is about “Greater Israel” hegemony plans in the Middle East. Neo-Cons call it “The New Middle East”. Why do you think Google is being sued for disrespecting the centuries old name “Persian Gulf” and put in their satellite image “Arabian Sea/Arabian Gulf”? People need to understand how they are being brainwashed. Don’t take things at face value nor add to the propaganda and lie. Kindly make it a priority to viral and share The Santos Republic so the world can have real weapons: REAL KNOWLEDGE. We are going to continue hammering it to your souls that we must have real World Peace. War is not peace.

June 13, 2011 (TSR) – Seymour (Sy) Myron Hersh is an American Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist and author based inWashington, D.C. He is a regular contributor to The New Yorker magazine on military and security matters. He has also won two National Magazine Awards and is a “five-time Polk winner and recipient of the 2004 George Orwell Award.”

His work first gained worldwide recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. His 2004 reports on the US military‘s mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison gained much attention.

Hersh was widely criticized by White House officials for his exposés on the torture at Abu Ghraib, secret U.S. operations overseas, and U.S. policy in Iran during the George W. Bush administration.

He made the remarks on Iran’s nuclear program in a commentary entitled ‘Iran and the Bomb: How Real Is the Nuclear Threat?‘ published in the New Yorker magazine on June 6.

Following are excerpts of his commentary:

Is Iran actively trying to develop nuclear weapons? Members of the Obama Administration often talk as if this were a foregone conclusion, as did their predecessors under George W. Bush.

There’s a large body of evidence, however, including some of America’s most highly classified intelligence assessments, suggesting that the U.S. could be in danger of repeating a mistake similar to the one made with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq eight years ago – allowing anxieties about the policies of a tyrannical regime to distort our estimates of the state’s military capacities and intentions. The two most recent National Intelligence Estimates (N.I.E.s) on Iranian nuclear progress have stated that there is no conclusive evidence that Iran has made any effort to build the bomb since 2003.

Yet Iran is heavily invested in nuclear technology. In the past four years, it has tripled the number of centrifuges in operation at its main enrichment facility at Natanz, which is buried deep underground.

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors have expressed frustration with Iran’s level of cooperation, but have been unable to find any evidence suggesting that enriched uranium has been diverted to an illicit weapons program
