Emir of Qatar’s Failed Kuwait Coup Attempt and Destabilization
May 11, 2012 (TSR) – Kuwaiti police arrested a group of Qatari agents charged for overthrowing Emir Al-Sabah IV.
The seized documents corroborate the existence of a plot organized by Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani of Qatar. Copies of these documents as well as the legal proceedings were immediately transmitted by Kuwait to Saudi Arabia.
Emir al-Sabah IV requested an emergency meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council, of which Qatar is a member.
Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani himself seized power in his country by overthrowing his father, Emir Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, who is now a refugee in Switzerland.
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, Emir of Qatar
In 2008, he prevented the election by the Lebanese Parliament of General Michel Aoun as president and successfully negotiated that of General Michel Sleiman. Soon after, he went to enthrone him at the Lebanese Parliament, not without first having arranged to discard outgoing President Emile Lahoud from the ceremony.
The Wahhabi monarch also played a central role in the overthrow of Muammar el-Qaddafi in Libya, and more recently in attempts to topple President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
A BRIEF REMINDER OF THE EMIR’S INVOLVEMENT IN LIBYA
In 2011, the Emir with his Al Jazeera also was instrumental in destabilizing Libya and Muammar Gaddafi’s removal. Independent journalists consistently reported a massive presence of Qatari ground forces (and even in, Jordan).
Qatar had built a small airport in southern Libya and used the one in Cyrenaica to transport its troops. It disembarked reinforcements in Tripoli when the capital was taken.
Moreover, Qatar shipped light tanks to Tunisia. Their landing was first thwarted by the people, and then coordinated by the Tunisian army. The crossing of the Libyan border by the column of Qatari armored vehicles was broadcasted on Libyan television.
Finally, Qatar organized an airlift to supply Al-Qaeda mercenaries with NATO weapons.
Here were some Qatari smuggled weapons to the Western-backed al-Qaeda Libyan rebels that were stopped by the Libyan authorities:
In addition, the Qatari television channel Al-Jazeera played a key role in the war propaganda campaign, going as far as to fabricated false studio images of the entry of the “rebels” in Tripoli.
The Emir, confirmed by French intelligence, had at least 5 000 Qatari soldiers who were engaged in the Libyan destabilization to remove Gaddafi.
NOTE: We apologize that the number “5 000” and “foreign troops” stated is not compatible with the version imposed by the mainstream media with Al Jazeera, CNN and BBC fabrications, psyops and propaganda to suppress the truth about the so-called a popular uprising took place against Gaddafi which followed by an international humanitarian intervention. The Santos Republic comforts itself that it is compatible instead with the Russian and Chinese media who vehemently oppose any foreign intervention and violation of sovereign rights of peoples and their nations, and called “Unified Protector”, “R2P” and Regime Change in the Middle East, an imperialist war.
